News podcast
March 2021. A Zalo group chat with 12 people — Vietnamese entrepreneurs scattered from San Francisco to Berlin, Singapore to Sydney. Nobody could have imagined that small chat group would become today's VBI Global.
"We just wanted somewhere to talk to each other," recalls Nguyen Van An, the founder. "Being an entrepreneur abroad is lonely. You succeed on the outside but nobody truly understands what you're going through."
Numbers That Speak
Five years on, VBI Global has reached remarkable milestones: 500+ active members in 30 countries, 120+ events held, $45M total capital raised by member startups, 18 companies invested through the VBI network, and 8 M&A deals connected through the community.
“VBI Global isn't a networking event — it's a second family for Vietnamese people building careers abroad.”
